We are pleased to announce the Maven JIRA Plugin 1.2 release!

This plugin downloads issues from Jira and creates a report.

Changes in this version include:

  Fixed bugs:

o Only log an error if the jira changes xml can't be parsed instead of 
  throwing an Exception 
o Make the Jira report work also using a fancy JIRA url like 
  http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MPJIRA (it doesn't require the url with a 
  numeric project id anymore) Fixes MPJIRA-4. 
o Enable retrieving component-specific issues. Fixes MPJIRA-11. Thanks to 
  Michael Franken. 
o Authentication support for access a private Jira instalation. Fixes 
  MPJIRA-8. Thanks to Michael Franken. 

  Changes:

o Update dependencies to match ones in maven 1.1 core and to unify them 
  between plugins. The following dependencies are updated : log4j v1.2.8 
  -> v1.2.12 Fixes MAVEN-1712.
